Lazaro has tried numerous cases that have resulted in significant verdicts. He has also successfully appeared before the Appellate Division on numerous occasions. His dedication to his clients and commitment to justice define his approach to the law.
Born to immigrant parents from Cuba and the Dominican Republic, Lazaro was raised in a bilingual household, cultivating a deep understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives. Fluent in Spanish, he connects with and advocates effectively for clients from all walks of life. Lazaro’s journey to becoming an attorney is as inspiring as it is remarkable. Initially pursuing medicine, he discovered his passion for the law during undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, where he majored in Administration of Justice and minored in Music and Psychology.
Before entering law school, Lazaro served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army, deploying with the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military service, marked by numerous commendations, including the Iraq Campaign Medal and Army Commendation Medals, instilled resilience and a profound commitment to service. While overseas, Lazaro found solace in his Christian faith and a calling to the legal profession, which he pursued with unwavering determination upon his return.
Lazaro earned his Juris Doctor from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law and a Master of Public Administration from Murray State University. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Frederic R. McDaniel in Union County, New Jersey, where he honed his skills in trial preparation, motion practice, and mediation. Lazaro eventually went on to a long-established personal injury law firm, where he became one of the firm’s prominent trial attorneys over the last decade.
Throughout his career, Lazaro has been a tireless advocate for clients navigating complex legal disputes. His certification as a Civil Trial Attorney reflects not only his extensive trial experience but also his dedication to the highest standards of legal excellence. Known for his empathetic and client-centered approach, Lazaro has successfully represented individuals in civil litigation and disability rights cases, earning their trust and respect.
