Email: julian@thecintronfirm.com
Julian L. Padilla is a trial attorney. He was born and raised in Hudson County and completed all of his studies in New Jersey.
Julian received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University (Newark), where he studied Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Political Science. While attending Rutgers, Julian worked for the United States Department of the Treasury.
Julian then went on to attend Rutgers School of Law (Newark). As a law student, Julian took advantage of the unique opportunities that were available to students who wanted practical experience. He enrolled in numerous practical skills courses and took part in the Rutgers Law Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project, where he worked alongside experienced attorneys to file Chapter 7 petitions for indigent clients.
During his last year at the Law School, Julian represented clients as a Rutgers Law Civil Justice Clinic Clinical Law Student. Here, Julian practiced under the supervision of Jon C. Dubin, Esq., a professor, head chair of the Rutgers Clinical Department, and a practicing attorney who has spent his entire career representing individuals who would otherwise go un-represented because they are impoverished.
During his time at the clinic, Julian represented indigent clients that wanted to appeal a previous denial of Social Security Disability benefits. As the client’s legal representative Julian was responsible for providing guidance, gathering the relevant medical documentation and expert reports, and advocating on behalf of the client before Administrative Law Judges. He also filed a request for Appeal Council review and handled a case that would later be heard in the Third Circuit of the Federal Court.
After law school, Julian worked at Kirsch, Gelband & Stone, P.A., a renowned personal injury firm in Essex County. While at Kirsch, Gelband & Stone, Julian had the unique opportunity to work closely with, and be mentored by, the Senior Managing Partner, Gregg Alan Stone, Esq., a Certified Civil Trial Attorney that is highly regarded and respected throughout the State. Under Mr. Stone’s tutelage, Julian handled various personal injury matters, including auto accidents, slip and falls, workplace injuries, dog bites, and medical malpractice. Within his first week of work as an attorney, Julian was afforded the opportunity to try his first case in the Superior Court, which resulted in a jury verdict award for his client.
At The Cintron Firm, Julian handles various areas of civil litigation, including personal injury, debt collection, business disputes, and landlord-tenant. He also handles criminal matters in the Superior Court.
